Privacy Policy

DevDab Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application SLOG (the "Application").

The core principle of SLOG is that we do not store your personal data on our servers. All data generated by the Application, including audio recordings and location logs, is stored strictly locally on your device. We do not have access to, nor do we collect or transmit your personal recordings to any external server.

Although we do not transmit data to a server, the Application requires the following permissions to function on your device:

A. Microphone (Audio Recording)

The Application uses your device's microphone to record audio in the background to provide the 24-hour recording service. This audio data is saved directly to your device's internal storage.

B. Location Data (Background Location)

We request access to your location (including background location) to tag your recordings with geographical metadata.

• This allows you to recall where a recording took place.
• Location data is stored locally within the audio file's metadata.
• We do not track your movements remotely.

C. Storage (File Management)

We request Read/Write access to your device's storage to save and manage your recording files securely.

The Application utilizes third-party services for map visualization. These services may collect information used to identify your device.

• Google Maps SDK: Used to display location thumbnails and maps. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data.

• Access & Deletion: You can view, play, or delete your recordings at any time using the Application or a file manager. Uninstalling the Application may not delete the recordings stored in the shared folder (/SLOG), giving you the option to keep your data. You can manually delete this folder at any time.
• Revoking Permissions: You can revoke the Application's permissions at any time in your device settings.
